1. About Raymond Leigh

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Raymond Leigh website and any financing-related services provided by Raymond Leigh (“Raymond Leigh,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Raymond Leigh is a Montreal-based equipment finance brokerage serving businesses and equipment vendors across Canada.

We help businesses access equipment financing, equipment refinancing, sale-leaseback financing, working capital, invoice factoring, and other commercial financing solutions through a network of independent lenders and financing partners.

We also work with equipment vendors, dealers, manufacturers, and distributors that want to offer financing to their customers through vendor and embedded finance programs.

By accessing this website, submitting a financing request, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Our Role

Raymond Leigh is a financing brokerage and does not itself provide the financing. Financing is provided by third-party lenders and financing partners.

We act as a commercial financing brokerage and intermediary. Our role is to review financing requests, help identify suitable financing options, and introduce or submit transactions to independent lenders and financing partners.

The lender or financing provider is responsible for making the final credit decision and setting the applicable financing terms.

Nothing on this website constitutes a guarantee of approval, funding, interest rate, payment amount, financing structure, or closing timeline.

3. Financing Services

Depending on the transaction and the business, Raymond Leigh may assist with financing solutions including:

  • Equipment financing
  • Equipment refinancing
  • Sale-leaseback transactions
  • Working capital financing
  • Accounts receivable and invoice factoring
  • Commercial vehicle and fleet financing
  • Heavy equipment and machinery financing
  • Vendor financing
  • Embedded finance programs
  • Other commercial financing solutions

Financing availability, terms, rates, fees, repayment periods, advance amounts, and eligibility requirements vary by lender, applicant, transaction, equipment type, credit profile, business history, and other underwriting factors.

4. Applications and Information

When you submit information to Raymond Leigh, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

You may be asked to provide information or documents including:

  • Business information
  • Ownership information
  • Financial statements
  • Bank statements
  • Accounts receivable information
  • Equipment details
  • Purchase invoices or quotes
  • Credit information
  • Identification
  • Corporate documents
  • Other information reasonably required to review the financing request

Providing information does not guarantee approval or funding.

5. Sharing Information With Financing Partners

By submitting a financing request or authorizing Raymond Leigh to review a transaction, you authorize us to share relevant business, financial, ownership, equipment, and transaction information with lenders, financing companies, factoring companies, insurers, service providers, and other financing partners where reasonably necessary to evaluate or complete the transaction.

We may submit a transaction to more than one financing source in order to identify available options.

We handle personal and business information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy laws.

6. Credit Checks and Due Diligence

Certain lenders or financing partners may require personal or business credit checks as part of their underwriting process.

Where required, appropriate consent may be requested before a credit bureau inquiry or other credit-related review is completed.

Lenders and financing partners may also conduct their own due diligence, identity verification, fraud prevention, asset verification, lien searches, corporate searches, or other underwriting procedures.

7. Financing Terms and Approvals

Any rates, payment estimates, approval timelines, advance amounts, loan-to-value estimates, or financing structures discussed before formal lender approval are indicative only unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Final financing terms are determined by the applicable lender or financing provider.

A transaction may be declined, changed, delayed, or withdrawn based on underwriting, documentation, asset verification, credit review, funding conditions, or other factors outside Raymond Leigh’s control.

8. Fees and Compensation

Raymond Leigh may receive compensation from lenders, financing partners, vendors, borrowers, or other parties in connection with a funded transaction.

Compensation may include brokerage fees, referral fees, lender-paid commissions, origination fees, participation in financing economics, or other transaction-based compensation.

Where a fee is payable directly by a client, borrower, or vendor, it will be disclosed as part of the applicable transaction or agreement.

Financing providers may also charge their own fees, including documentation fees, administration fees, legal fees, registration fees, closing fees, or other charges.

9. Vendor and Embedded Finance Programs

Raymond Leigh may work with equipment vendors, dealers, manufacturers, distributors, and other businesses to help them offer financing to their customers.

These programs may include financing applications, referral processes, lender access, financing status visibility, and revenue-sharing arrangements.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, participating vendors are not lenders and do not make credit decisions.

Financing decisions remain subject to the approval and underwriting requirements of the applicable financing provider.

Any vendor compensation, referral arrangement, or revenue-sharing arrangement will be governed by a separate agreement where applicable.

10. No Guarantee of Funding

Raymond Leigh does not guarantee that any financing request will be approved or funded.

We also do not guarantee that a particular lender, rate, term, structure, payment amount, or financing product will be available.

Statements regarding typical approval times, lender access, transaction sizes, or funding timelines are general descriptions of our services and should not be interpreted as guarantees.

These third parties operate independently from Raymond Leigh and may have their own terms, privacy policies, underwriting standards, fees, and contractual requirements.
