This Privacy Policy explains how Raymond Leigh (“Raymond Leigh,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, stores and protects personal information when you visit raymondleigh.com, submit a financing request or work with us.

Raymond Leigh is a Montreal-based equipment finance brokerage serving businesses and equipment vendors across Canada. We help businesses access equipment financing, equipment refinancing, sale-leaseback financing, working capital, invoice factoring, vendor financing and other commercial financing solutions through a network of independent lenders and financing partners.

We handle personal information in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable privacy laws.

  • Credit information obtained with your consent where a lender requires a credit check
  • Communications with us, including emails, calls, text messages and form submissions

Most of the information we handle relates to businesses. Some of it, such as information about owners and guarantors, is personal information and is protected under this Policy.

  • From equipment vendors, dealers or referral partners who introduce you to us, with your knowledge
  • From lenders and financing partners reviewing your request

  • Automatically, through our website hosting provider and cookies

  • Submit your file to lenders and financing partners

7. Sharing With Lenders and Financing Partners

To find and arrange financing, we share relevant information with:

  • Lenders, financing companies, leasing companies and factoring companies
  • Equipment vendors and dealers involved in the transaction
  • Service providers such as insurers, appraisers, lien search providers, credit bureaus and legal professionals
  • Technology providers that host our website, email and files

We share only what is reasonably needed for the purpose. Lenders and financing partners are independent organizations and handle information under their own privacy policies.

We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law.

8. Information Stored or Shared Outside Quebec

Some of our lenders, financing partners and technology providers are located outside Quebec, in other Canadian provinces or in the United States. Your information may therefore be stored or processed outside Quebec.

Before communicating personal information outside Quebec, we assess whether it will receive adequate protection, as required by Quebec law, and we work with providers that apply reasonable security measures.

9. Cookies and Website Data

Our website is hosted by Webflow. Like most websites, it may use cookies and collect basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to operate the site, keep it secure and understand how it is used.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the website may not work as intended if you do.

Our services are intended for businesses and their representatives. We do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with the date of the latest update.
